Thomas Verbist


A business engineer graduated in 2010, Thomas has worked in the fields of International Sales and Pricing Tactics/Strategy for an international energy company. He gained startup experience by working for an educational big-data startup and currently he is developing an own startup idea during his first year MBA at London Business School. Thomas has a passion for different kinds of sports and is always up for a conversation about startup ideas.

Jean-Bernard Tanqueray


Jean-Bernard is a candidate of LBS’ EMBA January 2015 (London stream). Beside working on cracking cases, he is the Chief Investment Officer of a single family office. He selects funds across all asset classes and styles, as well as sources, analyses and executes direct early and late stage private equity investments. Privately, he invests his own resources in exciting start-ups and keep thinking on how the Family Office world can be digitalised and brought to a much wider audience! He also holds degrees in International Macro-economics and Finance (M.Phil) from l’Université Paris 9 Dauphine and a Finance and industrial economics MA from Essca d’Angers.

Nay Abi Ramia


Nay has earned her Bachelors in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the American University of Beirut in 2011. She worked with the management consulting firm Strategy& (formerly Booz& Company) for three years across the Middle East where she consulted for top tier clients in the technology and financial services sectors. Nay is passionate about startups and is eager to encourage aspiring entrepreneurs to pursue the entrepreneurship path in LBS.

Tara Louise Reddy


Tara Reddy is a part of our logistics team. She is a veterinarian and has previously started her own niche venture in New Zealand. She is interested in the interface between pet-care and technology and brings a mix practical and creative skills to our conference.

Geoffrey Johnston


Geoff is a first year MBA candidate at London Business School. Prior to coming to LBS, he had been helping grow startups in New York City and San Francisco, most recently building product for a word of mouth marketing platform called Before plunging into the startup scene, Geoff worked on Gmail and Google Chat in Mountain View, CA. Geoff earned a bachelor of arts from Harvard University concentrating in History and Literature.

Mollie Amkraut


Mollie is a first year MBA student at London Business School. Mollie started her career in financial services, then transitioned into business development where she’s worked for both a large corporate and a small tech startup (the startup was a lot more fun). She’s now advising London startups on sales operations and having a blast learning about the tech scene in her new city.

Vincent Yin


Vincent Yin is an MBA 2016 candidate at London Business School. He is currently Sponsorship VP of the Conference Organising Committee in the Entrepreneurship Club. Prior to his MBA, Vincent worked for ExxonMobil Chemical as a Product Manager in the Shanghai office and started his career on a global leadership program at Henkel. Vincent holds a B.A. in Pharmacy from Tianjin University in China.

Rohit Utmani


Rohit is a Masters in Management, 2015 student at LBS. He graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a B.Tech (Honors) in Chemical Engineering. He has a diverse industry experience in Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas Exploration, Renewable Energy and E-commerce. He has worked with the world’s largest Oilfield services provider Schlumberger. Also he worked as the Regional Operations Manager for, a real estate listing portal in India and one of the fastest growing start-ups in the country. He is interested in gaining hands on experience in different spheres of fast growth organizations and eventually plans to start his own organization.

Anasuya Ramanan


Anasuya is a first-year MBA student at London Business School. Prior to LBS, Anasuya was​ a Senior Consultant at North Highland in London. From 2012-2014, she managed teams within large-scale technology transformations for global, blue chip companies, and specialised in change management and operating model development. Anasuya received her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts double degree from Monash University in Melbourne, with semesters spent abroad on scholarship at both the Monash Law campus in Prato, Italy and at the National University of Singapore.

Oliver Nowalski


Oliver is a first year MBA student at London Business School. Prior to LBS, Oliver worked at Turner Construction as a Superintendent. Most recently, he co-created a reality show that became the main marketing platform for some of Costa Rica's biggest companies during the the World Cup. Oliver earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Oliver is from Costa Rica. He is responsible for the logistics of the conference.
